Haday Salt-Baked Chicken Powder (30g per sachet) is used to create authentic, fragrant, and juicy Cantonese-style salt-baked chicken.

One sachet typically seasons 750g–1kg of chicken, which should be marinated for 15–30 minutes (or overnight for more intense flavor) before baking, steaming, or cooking in a rice cooker. 

Common Preparation Methods: 

• Rice Cooker Method (Easy):
1. Clean and dry a whole chicken or pieces ( 750g−1kg).
2. Rub one sachet of Haday Salt-Baked Chicken Powder thoroughly over the chicken (inside and out if whole).
3. Optional: Marinate for 15–30 minutes.
4. Place 2 tablespoons of oil and 8–10 slices of ginger in the rice cooker pot.
5. Place the chicken inside, cover, and press "cook".
6. When the cooking cycle finishes, flip the chicken, and cook again for another cycle until fully cooked (approximately 40 minutes total).
• Oven Method:
1. Rub the chicken with cooking wine, then apply the powder seasoning.
2. Let it dry/marinate for at least 1 hour.
3. Stuff with ginger and spring onions.
4. Roast in the oven at (200∘C) until cooked through. 

Versatile Uses: 

• Salt-Baked Shrimp/Quail Eggs: Use 5-6g of powder for 250g of seafood, marinate for 5 minutes, and microwave or stir-fry.
• Dry Rub: Use it to season chicken wings or roasted potatoes.
