Long-haired girl tells a story of a brave girl who had a long, black hair. She lived in a village which has not enough water. One day, on the way to gather some herbs for her mother, she saw a huge radish on the steep hill. She decided to pluck it out and bring it home for her mother. Spring water is trapped within the steep hill and the stream of water rushed out. The water was actually trapped by the selfish mountain monster. The monster wanted long-haired girl to keep it a secret if she want to stay alive. Looking at the villagers who are thirsting to death, long-haired girl told the secret to the villagers. The Banyan tree god knew about her braveness and wanted to help her. With the encouragement of the Banyan tree god and braveness of long-haired girl, the selfish mountain monster was shot to death. The villagers grew crop and live happily with food and water.
